The last 7 days in numbers

2 successful Heroes and Handbags events in 2 different cities

85 hours worked

1 lost iPhone and 1 replacement iPhone

400 great pictures gone from lost phone

1000 ladies shopping for handbags

420 handbags in silent auction

$190,000 raised in event day monies (excluding monies raised prior to the event--we'll figure that out soon!)

4 different beds for me to sleep on

2 fabulous dresses to wear

6 staff members who ROCKED IT

100 + volunteers who helped pull it all off

1 person who peed on the side of the highway (note--NOT ME)

600 goodie bags stuffed

2 berry mohitos to celebrate

1 banana split shared between 2 coworkers

4 friends out to dinner enjoying sushi

13.1 miles walked through Dallas as 2 parents walked in memory of 1 little angel

1 birthday party

3 nerf guns in the hands of 3 grown men acting like children

5 episodes of Gummy Bears to entertain 1 3year old while 2 parents moaned with exhaustion and soreness

ALL EQUALING---

ONE VERY TIRED WOMAN HEADING TO GET 1 MASSAGE WITH 2 FRIENDS.

What a week of numbers. So much wonderfulness accomplished. I'm so glad you did the half-marathon. Allie would be so proud! Enjoy that massage, you have definitely deserved it!

I wanted to thank you... I've been following your story since Allie got sick (my Ethan is just 13 days younger) and through your blog found Debbie's. I also have twins the same age as hers. I was so privelaged to meet her, Brandon and their adorable babies this past weekend!! I was visiting my good friend Austin who knows you. She & Dominic were in your/Maggie's Gymboree class. What a small world! At any rate, Debbie was wonderful as I knew she would be! We're heading back to Dallas in June with the entire family... hopefully we'll get to see them again and maybe meet you and Maggie as well!

Sounds like a busy, but gratifying week (minus the loss of the phone and pics...ugh on that!) Have fun with the massage and take it easy for a couple days - you deserve it! :)
