That's what little girls are made of

Katherine Sarah Scott will be joining our family in January. Katie, as we're already calling her. Maggie has come around to it being a girl. I told my little diva that sisters can wear matching dresses. Told her we would go shopping for clothes for her. Then, I busted out the big guns.

She has a choice--Katie can get the guestroom and have a brand new room OR Maggie can give Katie her bedroom and she can have her very own BRAND!NEW!BIG!SISTER!ROOM! Yeah, that worked. Now, she is happy about having a little sister. She is talking to my belly, "Hi Katie!!" everyday. She giggles that Daddy is the only boy in our family, including even the dog. Yesterday, we went to Six Flags for a fun family day. As we were walking in the front entrance, Maggie turns to my belly and yells, "KATIE!! We're at Six Flags--it's your very first time to come to Six Flags!!"

To answer the question I'm getting all the time--Andrew is THRILLED to be having a third daughter. He was so excited when "I'm a Girl" was typed across the screen during the ultrasound. He loves his girls so much. Let me tell you what--they worship that man. My girls are in love with their daddy.

We are so excited about our newest additon to the family. 19 weeks and counting!

I'm so happy for you guys! Beautiful name choice... We just had a baby girl and couldn't decide between Katherine or Caroline. We went with Caroline, but it was close...

Beautiful girls... beautiful names!

Beautiful name. I can't remember for the life of me Maggie's middle name. Please put me out of my misery and fill in the blank for Margaret _______ Scott. What a wonderful selling point of a new sister to get your own brand new room. Maggie, you scored! Take care, Jenny. I've been following you since Allie began her journey.

I love the name as well.. My Kathryn (Katey) is turning 13 tomorrow. I just love the name to pieces. We call her Katey, Katey-bug, even Kit-Kat. She started going by Kathryn with her friends though. She said nobody called her Kathryn and if she didnt start going by it, she never would.

I love, love, love it.
I am so happy for you, and I am so happy that Maggie came around. I am sure they will grow up to be the best of friends.

Much love to you and your family.
Shel

Congrats! And welcome to the 3 girls club! We know probably 10 different family friends of ours who have 3 girls, ourselves included. It is wonderful! Although we just had to step out of that elite club, because in January we had our 4th child, a boy! So congrats, it is a fabulous and frilly and fun, and the best part is dressing them alike for pictures!

Congrats to all the Scotts! How wonderful to be adding a sweet cuddly baby girl to your family! Your girls have the most beautiful names; I love the nicknames "-ie" and how great they all sound together. Katie will be one loved little girl!

Sisters are so fun. I would be lost without mine. I have 2 daughters. They were dressed a like when they were younger or sometimes coordinating colors as per the oldest ones request. SO much fun. They are definitely daddy's girls and he loves every minutes of it. So excited for you.

My oldest is named Sarah Katherine. One bit of warning, it's a name you will always spell. At least your last name is easy! Sarah with an h, Katherine with a K and an ine at the end, and we even get to spell the last name!

I've been following you since Allie was diagnosed....God must be giving you girls for a reason! Enjoy your girls. My two girls are almost 6 years apart. It's a love/hate relationship every day!
