Note the bitten off fingers and stitched arms. My most prized possession from my childhood! Andrew says she is pretty scary. I think she's great! Maybe a little freaky looking
My favorite doll was also a Fisher-Price, the "My Sleepy Baby". It even came with a Pattern to make overall outfits for it, my mom made me several. Here's a pic of MSB: http://cgi.ebay.com/79-Fisher-Price-My-Sleepy-Baby-19-Doll-MIB-FP_W0QQitemZ9507655489QQihZ012QQcategoryZ95244QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
Of course mine is light brown instead of pink, one eyeball is missing the eyelashes and is kind of pushed back out of it's socket.
Anyone know how Jenny and I could best clean our babies up?
ok sister, I'm sorry, but I'm siding with Andrew on this one. Creepy, way creepy but I do totally get the sentimental value and love that he hasn't accidentally tossed it!
I didn't know her name was Honey, I thought that was just what I named her! I have one too, but it isn't as "loved" as yours. My girls (I have 3) play with her and oddly enough named her Honey without knowing! I just turned 30 in April so it must have been a popular doll back then.
OMG....I had that doll, too! When I read your last post mentioning her I had no idea she was actually named "Honey", though. My mom probably still has her packed away somewhere. Gotta love the molded plastic hair. lol
LOL I have a Mickey Mouse doll from childhood that is missing one of his hands, he went through so much with me as I was growing up. Isnt it great to have those prized possesions?
Oh my goodness! That is the same doll I've had since I was born! Her name was just Yellow Baby, she is just as sad shape as yours but I could NEVER part with her. My mom found my oldest Piper, one at a garage sale one year. HOW FUNNY! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who loves this doll!
Yep, same one I have. I think mine is a little less loved, the right arm on yours looks fragile.
I know from experience, you can machine was her. My mom apparently did that when I was about 3 and I stood at the washing machine the whole time and watched her bob around. I would not recommend this after almost 30 years though, I'd be afraid to try mine too.
Mr clean magic eraser for the head, not sure about the body. My mom did machine wash my "baby beans" before she sent her to me. She is 30 years old and held up well.

I have the same baby Honey doll! My girls love to play with it. Funny, I now know 3 people who have the same doll still!

LOL! I love it!
I feel so left out. I'm the same age as all of you but I never had a Honey Doll. :(
I do kinda have to agree with Andrew on this one though. That doll needs a bath...in a big way.
I do love the fact that you still have her though. That's so sweet!!
This makes me want to have a brand new honey doll to hug!!!My favorite is still the hair!!! :)

I'm going to have to sleep with the lights on tonight in case I see Honey Doll!
She is umm, cute?! :)
Does Dana Eisenberg still have a website? Can you update us on her condition?
