Coincidence??

Yesterday, President Bush signed the "Conquer Childhood Cancer Act" to provide much needed funding to pediatric cancer research.

Yesterday was Taylor's birthday (see blog post below).

The Senate declared September 13, 2008 National Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. September 13th is the day of the Fourth Annual 5K Run/Walk this year.

It's also the day of the fourth anniversary of Allie's death, or "Allie Day" as we like to call it in my house.

Coincidence? I don't know, but it gives me chills, that's for sure.

Nah, not much in this world is a coincidence. But then, I never totally bought into existentialism (love the choice, hate the chaos).

I think it's perfect

When I saw September 13th, I knew what the day signified, but to hear it will be a National day is amazing. It is both Taylor and Allie letting you know what an amazing job both you and Larissa are doing. Your girls love you both.

I saw this on FOX news and thought of you! I check in on you often and am happy to see you have had a wonderful summer. Sounds like your family/friend trip was a lot of fun and that camp went great. Hugs to Maggie the wonderful and I guess I'll see you at the HFC 5K-if not before.

Love, Erin Oldfield

I realize I'm a post behind but I wanted to chime in here to say how AMAZING this news is and definately NO coincidence at all. It just gives me shivers all over. The greatness those two girls have and will continue to inspire is mind blowing; bigger than life.
Miss you!
