Thinking of you on this day. A giraffe hangs on our Christmas tree every year. Your story touched me and I never wanted to forget...
Fast forward 3 years later and I ended up at preschool with Cheryl Pellett. Small world...
Take care of yourself. We are all rooting for you, sweet Jenny.

Every time I see a giraffe, I think of your sweet Allie.

The night that she passed away, my husband, Luke was in the shower. Our little Bethany was a month older than your sweet Allie, and she was fussy with me and wanted to go to sleep, but not with me. After I read about Sweet little Allie, I told my husband. He got out of the shower, got his pj's on, and scooped up our baby girl. He wished so hard that he could have had Allie's cancer, so she could have lived. Bethany slept peacefully on his chest.

I took a photo of the two of them sleeping together that night. I just posted it on my blog http://thedustylife.blogspot.com/2011/09/september-13-2004.html this morning to show you.

A year and three months later, my Luke became our Angel.

Just wanted to let you know that I think of your family often.
