So, from now until April 15th, I will continue to be mocked by those damn Tory Burch shoes. So close, yet still so very far away.

Let the Mocking Continue
Finally, I have the funds to buy the shoes that have been mocking me everywhere I go. I love these shoes and I am so excited to get them. And what happens? They're on backorder!! The pair I want will be available to ship April 15th!! Crazy. Now, if I want the orange pair--those are a month earlier. Too bad I am ultra conservative in my shoe habits and don't branch out past black and brown, with the exception of one pair of red ballet flats I own.

Hi Jenny, I'm a frequent lurker on your blog. Saw that you're wanting the Tory Burch black patent leather ballet flats. I don't know if you're aware of the shoe designer Loeffler Randall but she has a designer line of shoes for Target, much like Isaac Mizrahi does and she had a pair of black patent leather ballerina flats that look EXACTLY like the Tori Burch one's you're wanting only they're $29.99, as opposed to the $195 "Tory's". You have to check them out. Saw them at the new Super Target at 121/Custer earlier this week. Here's the link. I don't know if you're dead set on the Nordstrom's one's, but I'm serious go check out the Loeffler Randall one's. They are almost an exact replica for a fraction oof the cost. Ok totally funny I saw those shoes and thought like they look a lot like the ones at target. I am sure they are different but perhaps it could get you though the slump.

Those shoes are freaking adorable!! I love them!!! I hope that by some freak act of nature they show up in your mailbox (front step) sooner than April 15th!!

I have also seen those same shoes here in our end of summer sales for only $45!!!! I am in Australia and could buy them and mail them to you for a fraction of the cost and you would still get them before April 15th!!!
