Mme. Scott!! hi :] this is Srij from Rice ( i hope you still remember me..i gave you SO much trouble in french class haha)..seems like forever ago. last time i saw you was at medcity dallas when i was volunteering about 2 1/2 years ago, and last night, i had a dream about you. it was pretty weird - haha but i guess lazying around this summer lets my dreams wander off to things i hadn't thought about in a while. so i have been reading your blogs this morning- and in the last 3 hours i caught up :-). i'm so glad to see you with a beautiful daughter. the pictures on top are hilarious! i'm sure you are aware of how many people you have impacted- but just FYI you have made such a big difference in my life. even my family in india knows about you :-) i hope you're doing great and i'd love to see you and maggie, if you aren't too busy! i couldn't find your email address, so i thought i'd leave a comment. my e-mail is srijna_n@sbcglobal.net . Anyways, take care and i hope you have a great summer :-)
I love to see a child with a dog. I don't think there is any better toy or best pal!!
Both of my kids have been raised with dogs. When Emma was born we had Jake (the big guy in the picture). He was 4 yrs. then. When Emma was 15 months, I lost my mind and got Maggie (bassett hound) and then when Emma was 2 1/2, Jake (big dog) was 6 and Maggie was 1 1/2...Timmy came along. Jake and Maggie were both great with the children and any children that have come into our home. Now that Jake is gone, we have Finn and so far he has loved on every child that he has met. We are just waiting for his puppiness to fade out. He is only 6 months.
Maggie is so beautiful. There is something so magical about the bond between a child and a dog. We have two and I love watching Gabby with the one that will tolerate her (LOL). Hugs, Dana
