I was going to post pictures...

...of the Wiggles concert tonight, but my computer hates me. Seriously. I cut the pictures off the camera. I pasted them into my pictures folder under Maggie/Two Years (I like very organized computer files), and watched them download. But they're gone. Andrew did two different searches and can't find the files.

So, you're going to have to just imagine the cuteness of her holding a single red rose to give to Dorothy. You have to picture the awestruck look of complete bewilderment on my child, completely overwhelmed at finally seeing the Wiggles in person. She was so overwhelmed! She just sat there staring for most of the concert. And when Murray, the red Wiggle, walked right in front of her? She just didn't know what to do with herself!

We had a great time. Dinner and snowcones with the Weintraubs afterwards completed the evening of fun. My sweet baby is crashed out now, dreaming of her beloved Wiggles. Love her.

I remember when I took my 3 yr old, who is now 7, to see the Wiggles. He came back with every Wiggle item my mother could buy for him. He was so thrilled to see Jeff awake.

Jenny,
No need to post this comment, I just figured this was the best way to get ahold of you. My husband has a co worker in Ft. Worth whose child was just diagnosed with Lukemia, they are looking for more resources. I was hoping you could help out some. I have forwarded The Heroes for Children site to my husband, so they may be contacting you. But any resources you have would be great.
Also my mom and step dad live in Odessa, and my step dad is an avid golfer, as are many of his friends. If you have more info on the golf tournament I would love to get them involved. Thanks in advance.

I remember my daughter's first Wiggles Concert - yes, she's been twice. LOL! The first time she was like Maggie - completely in awe...like she couldn't believe they were right there in front of her and not on tv! Precious memories. :) She was 2 at the time - I brought her again about a year later...she danced most of the time. Now my 3 year old son is into them, and I'm just awaiting the time when I can bring him as well. Hate that your computer was being mean to you - they really can be horrible machines can't they?! I know the pictures had to be truly darling. Glad you guys had fun. :)

What a fun day, and memorable day for her. I can only imagine the smile on her face. Fantastic!

My camera has done that too... once it was with pictures I needed for a slideshow I was making! UGH! Luckily another mom had also taken pictures so I used her's. Although I know I had some good ones that she didn't get. :(

I just had a drive crash that I HAD to get the files off of...I bought a ton of software for recovery...I'm sure that Andrew probably has some too, but didn't know if ya'll wanted to try any of them to recover them? One of the ones that I used even found some of the files that I'd deleted long ago, then installed Windows over the top of, but had only done a quick format, so they had not been overwritten. Works even on memory cards...I'd hate to see you loose them if you don't have to! I love the memories that the pics of my kids bring back every time I see them...*sigh*

Jenny,

We're going to the Wiggles concert near us tomorrow and have seats that are right in the center, 5 rows from the stage. I'd be glad to shoot some extra pictures your way via email tomorrow night or Monday morning. I know it won't be the same as having your own set, but I'd be glad to take a few close up pics (well as close as I can) of the whole crew. Let me know!

Love from NY,

Carolein

An update--we went to the concert this evening and I took over 100 pictures, so if you want any close ups of anyone sent your way, just let me know!
