Do all two year olds have OCD?

Sheesh. I certainly think our little girl does!!

Even with her 102 degree fever (poor baby tonight!), she still made me go through her routine of every single book (all seven of them) that she makes us read page by page in order of book every night. Just one of her little "things" that she has to have in a day. I sweat, slight OCD tendencies already at two!

OMG! LOL - We have contained it to three books (although I think my hubby does 4 at night) I keep to three at naptime anyway!! Our DD is around the same age as yours. Aren't they funny!

No OCD here...but certainly a little ADHD going on!!

I have come to the conclusion that small children are totally creatures of habit. They have their routines, and it becomes comfortable, and any deviation from it throws them off. With her being ill, its probably even more of a comfort issue. Poor Maggie. Hope she feels better soon :(

My almost 4 year old daughter is OCD too. She was with Grandma last weekend and she does things differently than mom, and Savannah about lost it. Just try and get her out of the tub without washing her hair...she gets ugly!! She also has to sleep in her room by herself with her pink nightlight on and the door better be closed!! I love kids!!

So I know that all the books say toddlers like routine, but oh my! We've read the same 3-5 books every night for months now. But about the time I really started to worry about the obsession of them, it was gone and now we are on to something new...no more reading at bedtime, just music. Go figure!

By the way, the dress you bought for today is stunning! Good luck in Houston!!

Yeah, all kids have it...and as far as I can tell (at 4 & 6) it doesn't go away..course my husband swears up and down that I am OCD myself...so maybe I should stop waiting and watching for it to ease up. ;-)

Sorry she's feeling crummy! I guess you have to turn it around and figure that it's a good thing she loves books! LOL -- we've read Yummy Yucky about a thousand times. "This is a baby book, Sophie! Aren't you interested in something else?" "NO! Yummy Yucky!" And she's four.

Have fun in Houston!
