A conversation with Maggie yesterday:
Me: What do you want for Christmas, Maggie?
Her: Hmm....maybe a mary dress and a mary doll.
Me: A what?? Huh?
Her: A mary dress. You know, Mama.
Me: Mag, what's a mary dress?
Her: So I can marry my daddy!!
What does my daughter want for Christmas? A wedding gown so she can wed her true love--her daddy.

So very cute!
I have to ask about your twitter -- where are the Disney costumes on sale? I have a 3 year old (also a Daddy's girl) who wants a Belle costume for xmas, probably because it's the only one her sisters don't have.
Thanks!
Peggy--it's online at the Disney Outlet. Belle costume was $17.99!! Usually a $40 costume. We bought Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. Andrew bought her Snow White a few weeks ago--her collection is getting bigger and bigger. Especially now that I have to find a wedding dress costume for Christmas too!
oh my goodness! That is just so cute. I know that must melt your heart!
Hi Jenny-
I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Ted Wren's daughter, Hayley. I found your blog off of your old website. I just wanted to tell you that your post today warmed my heart and reminded me of my dad. I remember my dad telling me that he would always be my first love and nineteen years later, I can certainly say that he still is.
Happy Holidays,
Hayley Wren
Awww Jenny! How cute is that? Lil Maggie sure is precious!
Awwww! Just awwwwww, that's it. :)
that is the cutest thing I've ever heard!! :)
Lovin' some Maggie-speak!! Hey, try www.haloheaven.com. They have tutu's, hair halos, wands and dress up (I believe they have a white dress) for almost nothing. Lot's of flea market vendors buy goodies there to resell. And the shipping is very reasonable. If you can't find one...my girlfriend sells dress up clothes and has some bride dresses (we'll be in Canton next week-end if ya'll are up for a road trip :)
Let me know, too, if you are in need of one. I picked up a wedding costume after Halloween for cheap and would be willing to part with it if necessary. It's nothing fancy, but it would work! :)
Very sweet! Now get shopping for that 'Mary' dress! You must buy it!
to cute
Oh my goodness how sweet!!
Isn't it funny how girls do that!! My daughter is almost 3 and she has this Disney princess calender on her wall, and she was telling me how she was going to wear such and such dress ( that one of the princess' were wearing), and then she told me what all the rest of us would wear too! LOL!
